I have 2 children, one at Bear Creek and one at Summit Middle School and am married to an aerospace engineer. This is my 3rd year at Bear Creek as a paid employee after volunteering here in my kids' classes for 5 years.  It's such a nice place I couldn't leave!  We have a flock of eight ducks at home, which started as a result of a school project in my daughter's class here at Bear Creek.  I grew up in Tucson, Arizona, but have lived here for 15 years.  My family and I love to travel and have taken many trips overseas as well a 6-week camping trip in our van every summer visiting national parks and cooking over campfires.  I love listening to non-fiction audiobooks about natural history.  On our summer road trip this year we listened to two amazing ones: Venomous: How Earth's Deadliest Creatures Mastered Biochemistry and Never Home Alone: From Microbes to Millipedes...  I also really love What If? Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions.
