Tanner Dayhoff

I was born and raised in Lafayette, CO - I went to Lafayette Elementary, Angevine Middle School, and Centaurus High School.  I received my BA in Elementary Education from Northern Colorado, and taught at Mesa Elementary in Boulder.  After completing my MA in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies at University of Colorado - Denver, I was an assistant principal at multiple BVSD schools.  I began at Bear Creek in the 2018-2019 school year, and couldn't be more excited to be a part of this amazing community.
Sarah (wife) and I have 2 daughters - Madison and Riley.  We enjoy spending time together as a family, with our favorite spots being Coors Field and Indian Rocks Beach, Florida.  Friday nights are "Pizza and Movie Night" in the Dayhoff household.  We also love spending time in our backyard, and have recently started gardening.
As a principal, I strive to create a safe, happy school environment where "All of our students means all of our students."  My favorite book to read with kids is "Once Upon A Rainbow" by Jennifer Woods Tierney.
