This is my 22nd year in BVSD and 11th
at Bear Creek. I started as Special Education Para, then a Health Room Para,
and finally a Secretary. Working with elementary age children helps keep me
young. You never know what they will
share! It truly is a privilege to nurture and support them.
I am married to a wonderful man, John, and I have a fabulous
25 year old son, Taylor. We also have an adorable dog named Rudy who is half Havanese
and half Wheaten Terrier. My husband is a native of Boulder and has
watched it become the awesome city it is. We live in Louisville and have been
there since the roads were dirt and the area was grassland :). I didn’t grow up here. I am an Air Force brat and my dad was stationed
all over the US and in Newfoundland, Canada. That was an awesome experience. I literally walked to school in blinding
snowstorms!! It was there my love of
sports began. I enjoy golf, football, hockey, and the English Premier league.
Besides traveling to Canada, I have been to Africa, Mexico, Israel
and Ireland. I think I have been bit by
the travel bug and hope to do a river trip through Germany soon. My favorite books are The
Hobbit by JRR Tolkien and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis.
I love to spend lazy summer days reading on my garden swing!
