    4th grade

I am a mom of two fabulous boys, Sam and Case. Case is a fourth grader at Bear Creek and Sam is starting his second year at Southern Hills Middle School. We are lego-building, ice-cream eating, get out and explore family. I love to run, swim, read, and organize (yes, organize - it drives my boys crazy).
I double majored in English and Mass Communications at James Madison University in Virginia. I was a collegiate swimmer and my favorite events were 100 and 200 breaststroke. Post college I traveled, worked, traveled. I spent a total of 16 months abroad visiting over 14 countries. I dabbled in graphic design but found my way into the running retail world, which paved my journey to Boulder. I co-owned Fleet Feet Sports, a running store in town. This experience gave me the gift of building a strong athletic community and meeting some of my closest friends.
After 11 years in the retail world, I returned to get my Masters in Teaching and Curriculum Design. Now, I have the incredible opportunity to build important relationships and strong communities with amazing children. Also, I get to continue learning, not only from your children, but through ongoing professional development. My most recent training was in Orton-Gillingham, which was a 3 year program.
